I need a new hobby

I am leveling another toon in wow. This time around I have made a druid and so far have made it to 36. I was looking for something or another on my druid and could have sworn I had what I was looking for on another toon. So pop open my Carbonite warehouse mod  (it’s so you don’t have to log out and hunt for an item you think one of your alts. has. It’s pretty nifty) and see how many characters. I seriously need a new hobby. Stamps..how about stamps lol.

What I’m Thankful For

It’s me again…try and keep the enthusiasm to a minimum okay? * crickets chirping softly in the background * ^_^

It’s almost Thanksgiving time and you know what that means. Time to gorge ourselves full to busting, watch what ever game that’s on the ‘ol t.v. then proceed to fall into our perspective turkey comas. This year I planned on going down to my mothers to get out of having to cook but plans have changed…

Here a few weeks back my Spawn fell ill with pneumonia and a bad case of some sort of blood borne bacteria that landed him in the Children’s Hospital for the better part of a week. My saint of a husband used up all his vacation time running back and forth to bring us things from home ( which is over an hour away in downtown Pittsburgh) that we needed to make the stay as bearable as possible. Basically he would go into work, make sure things were good and nothing was pressing, then drive to the hospital to be with us. I really lucked out in the “good husband” department. If you would ask what I am thankful for this holiday season I would say two things. My spawn (of course) and my husband, for just being him.

So needless to say, Teh DCoE is staying home this year with her Spawn and Hublett. Forced to be a kitchen wench while others feast, drink and be merry. I will be ready for some SERIOUS pampering when the day is over . I know it’s early but remember what your truly thankful for and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Testing….Testing….Is this thing on?

Going through my computer bookmarks, deleting the ones that are bunk and whatnot and I stumble across one for WordPress and was like “Hey! I used to do that crap.” Looked through my email for my log in info and started reading all my old post. Most were crap and a couple I liked. Made me realize how much has changed since my last entry.  Some for the good and some….not so good. But that is life. Always moving forward, stopping for no man.

I Feel Pretty

Been trying out Metamorphosis Talent in the Demo tree. So far I likes it. Having two stuns (Felguard charge and the Demon Charge you get in Demon form) against a caster is pretty nifty. I miss syphon life but not enough to respec.  But might change my mind when Wrath hits.

Speaking of Wrath, Zomg I am getting stoked.  Herk took me on a tour of the DK starting zone in EPL ( we were heading to Strat dead for giggles and what not…i was hoping for the Baron mount but he was a cheap bastard). Nothing is there but the buildings but it still looks awesome.

Its One of Those Days…

Where everything that can go wrong, will go wrong.  Horde cant seem to win Av to save their lives. I’ve had the AV daily now for 2 days and even when I do manage to get into an AV that wins I don’t get credit for it. I’ve dropped the quest and picked it back up and still nodda.

Myspace deleted my account. I sent them an email and they say even if they re-activate my account everything is lost and can not be brought back. Since I moved from VA, Myspace was an inexpensive way for my friends and myself to keep in touch. None of us are for emailing/ letter writing on a regular basis.

There was no milk for tea this morning. I am a sad panda

/Vent on

Finally!!!! Was able to get on teh ‘Hoof and boy is it buggy! Outlands is down at the moment. BG’s are in limbo. World servers keeps going down right in the middle of trying to spec muh lock. And the Stupid is in full effect! Teh Stupid…it BURNZ! Every 5 seconds the same question is being asked and tempers are flying. Does nobody read the patch notes? I admit, i dont pour over every single word in the patch notes but i get a healthy idea what teh frack is going on!!! /vent off

Patches…we don’t need no stinkin Patches :P

This patch, as far as i can tell, is full of W.I.N! There is a ton of QQ on the servers that are up * it’s 7:22 pm where i am. Only one server where i have a toon is up and its not the one i wish to be on… but oh well it will be up when its up.* The Shave and a Hair cut is awesome. Gnomes with mowhawks are a riot! Short post tonight ‘cuz i am too A.D.D right now waiting on muh servers to pop. Ciao

Hello Lover

Boy am I tired. Long weekend of questing/grinding I finally completed muh task and got to lvl70 before Wrath hit /flex.  Now to enjoy being 70 before *sigh* have to lvling again to 80.

No Scabs Allowed

So yesterday, Kelmar and Sugars took teh DCoE and 2 other n00bs thru Ramparts. I need upgrades gear wise. One was a Orc warrior who tanked with all his lil Orc heart. The other was a Cow druid who was either afk,in the other part of the instance or busy skinning the wolves(didn’t ask if anybody else skinned). He maybe thru a HoT on one of us once in a while. The best was “afk 3 minutes..i have to go eat”. WTF n00b!!!!Basically we 4 manned it. I mention to Kelmar and he says “i kinda wonder about that guild. He is from the same guild as that SPriest from last night”. Lemmie explain.

The other night we are on the Isle doing our dailies. If you play on a PvP server you already know how violent the Isle can be. Its gank or be ganked and travel in packs. The only safe places is around the guards and still that is no guarantee.  On this night is exspecially brutal. There is a whole guild of Alliance called “The Huns” (usually I don’t mention opposing guild names out of courtesy but these guys match their guild name to a T) taking down any and all Horde that makes the mistake of crossing their path. I wasn’t surprised when a “Calling All Horde” went over the general chat channel. Those that have a KOS (Kill on Sight) list added “The Huns” and was time for some payback. Generally in the time of world pvp the Horde ( and Alliance alike) banned together when we see one of our faction getting the once over ( or more like mobbed over cuz the alliance don’t know the meaning of “fair fight”).  We see a Spriest getting hit by a Druid (this druid also been ganking people all night. People asking if you see <insert name here> to give a shout out cuz he is owed a couple of beat downs) and decide to step in. We get him.  Instead of thanking us we get ” Yo you ***** we was dueling!” We go about our business and he follows us. All the sudden Mr. Druid pops out of prowl with buddies and we take a dirt nap. Kelmar still fighting strong and Hip and I hurry up and release to run back to help him out.  We don’t get there in time to help out but do make it in time to see that Mr. Druid and buddies isn’t wailing on Mr. SPriest O.o. Instead all of them mount up and leave together. The scab is a spotter. I’ve seen spotters on PVE servers plenty but never on PVP. I guess its foolish to think there aren’t any on a pvp server. Vent makes a lot possible.

Anyway back to Ramparts. About thru the middle of Ramparts Kelmar says ” Oz! Your 65. Why aren’t we doing Ring of Blood?” Silly me thought it was lvl66 /doh! Color me embarassed. We couldn’t do it after Ramps ‘cuz it was Ms. Hip’s birthday ( HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIRTY HIPPY <3) and Kel had to go soon but we made plans for the next day. The next day as promised Kelmar, Sugars, Hip and ReNoobed took meh to the ring of blood. I have never done that quest soo fast before. I also remember that quest being a bigger pain in the tookus. The 4 of them made it look like cake. Sometimes I forget I’m now guilded with Pros who “know” how to play their class and play them well. /Salute The Dogs War/RAWR.
